About this Role

Summer is looking for an entrepreneurial and user-centric Product Lead to join the team! If you are data driven, empathetic, curious, and love building user-centric products in a fast-paced environment, then you’ll be a great fit!

As a Product Lead at Summer, you will partner directly with our Founders, Engineering, and Design teams to continue building out Summer’s digital products. This role sits at the intersection of tech, marketing, sales, and operations. As such, the ideal candidate for this position will be entrepreneurial and independent, but also incredibly effective at collaborating with cross functional partners. You’ll be responsible for executing on our roadmap, helping run our sprint cycles, and shipping great products.

As one of Summer’s first hires, you will have a front-row seat and active hand in building and shaping Summer’s trajectory.

What You’ll Do

  • Gain a deep understanding of Summer's business verticals and customer experience, identify product gaps and contribute to new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth

  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and actionable outcomes

  • Help establish product success criteria with clearly measurable objectives and key results to deliver a great user experience

  • Partner with Engineering and Design to execute efficiently and deliver impact for our business and users

  • Communicate concisely within the team and with leadership to influence outcomes

  • Collaborate on implementing best in class product development and management practices

  • Define and analyze metrics that inform product success & health

  • Ensure that we have proper end-to-end instrumentation to measure and optimize our KPIs

  • Manage dashboards in order to communicate key funnel metrics and recommend strategies to boost customer conversion

  • Collaborate with our business intelligence partners to leverage lead qualification data from our Salesforce CRM

Preferred Competencies

  • 5+ years of product management experience

  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle

  • Experience running experiments and A:B testing

  • Experience with dashboards in data science tools

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, startup environment

  • Superb analytical and communication (verbal and written) skills

  • Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams

  • Big thinking. Should be able to help a small team achieve goals out of their comfort zone

  • Preferred: Domain experience with Landing pages, Email, Push, SMS, automated campaigns, ads

  • Bonus: Experience building or supporting marketplace and/or PropTech products
